Dear Masters,

Please see below message just received from FIS regarding Halisberg and Kaprun FYI:

The OC in Kaprun confirmed today the organisation of the FMC events scheduled for January 16th and 17th and informed us that they will organise 2 Giant Slalom races in substitution to the planned SGs.

Today we had the FMC SL here in Meiringen-Hasliberg under quite difficult weather conditions and poor visibility.
Considering those adverse conditions the Jury decided to cancel de 2nd Run for all categories A, B & C.

According to Rule MA 9) in exceptional cases the Sub-Committe for Masters Racing may declare a one-run SL as valid.
In its Meeting in Varna (BUL) 2014, the Sub-Committee decided to appoint a special group to quickly decide about the validity of one-run Slaloms (see item 17.4 of the Minutes) composed by Sergio Parot (CHI), Luka Vucinic (CRO) and the Chairmen of the Sub-Committee for Masters Racing. The group conveyed today by whats app and unanimously decided to exceptionally declare todays SL as valid.

Best Regards,

Stefano Arnhold
